What can parents do?

Franklin Academy has many opportunities for parents to volunteer. Each K through 8 homeroom needs a room parent to help organize grade and class events. Parents volunteer to supervise lunch in the classrooms so teachers can have a lunch break. Events such as Book Fairs, Art Fairs, Field Days, Career Day, and school dances need volunteers. Projects undertaken by the Grounds Committee and Teacher Appreciation Committees are examples of events run on pure parent power.
